First routed electrical and repaired and painted wall. Then hung the two heavy wall sconces
Client had walking issues and needed a trip resistant transition which matched other brick patios
Tied in wall columns with perpendicular strips while installing new hardwood flooring
Special challenge to ramp up hardwood to match height of tile floor at the end of the hallway.
While the husband was away... Client surprised him with so much organization!
You will have to look very closely. Customer told me to put some plywood and sand bags into his pool so they could flip over and push off while swimming laps. I suggested his multi-million dollar home needed something classier. Hence the thick plexiglass design.
Laborious task of stripping all the previous coatings and applying new stain with a twist. Customer wanted non-slip. So, between layers, there is super fine aggregate.
Client with sleep issues directed me to design and build a "sound barrier" to block vehicular traffic noise. Easy enough, but the challenge was to make it so that it could be disassembled and removed and then put back later in the event the local busy-bodies objected. Oh, and it needed an integrated door!
The customer requested I delete some wine storage and replace with adjustable shelving above and more counter space
Kitchen Lighting Modernization
OMG - Much Needed Safety pHix.
Consolidated 2 boxes into one - deleted interior box!
Prolonged roof/wall leak damage
Same water damaged wall work.
During and before paint.
Skylight improvement: Removed old leaded glass pieces in a super heavy frame and replaced it with acid etched tempered glass with electrical for a Tiffany fixture in the middle. Added rope lighting around the border for night-time accent
Client had me delete a center, non-bearing wall.
Dramatically improved lake view from the Kitchen.
Repaired settling damage to swimming pool tile, sealing off leaks.
The first picture was taken during the work. Nice cosmetic upgrade, likely a selling point for the home.
Roots! Sidewalk needed to be removed and replaced. Beautiful exposed aggregate finish.
Dryrot or termite damage - Sometimes it cost effective to repair rather than replace.
Turned a closet in a commercial building into a laundry cubby.
Other Accomplishments
Water Conditioner with Pre-filter
Water Heater replacement. Old water heater wasn't heating AND was leaking. Troubling to note other issues found. Drain pan with no drain line to outside, which also had slits cut in it so it wouldn't even hold water AND the old T&P line simply pointed staight down to that faulty, undraining pan!
Cabinet Pull-outs
Bathroom Upgrade with Vanity Replacement
Garage Pull-down Ladder
Totally new bathroom in a trailer overhaul - office trailer to tiny home!
